Unmarked Quart Connecticut Mug. This particular configuration was made by both Samuel Danforth and the Boardmans of Hartford. This variety has a somewhat smaller handle than frequently seen on Danforth mugs.
This example is in very good plus condition. The handle still shows scrape finish marks. The bottom still has lathe marks present. The interior is clean and free of pitting. This mug is 5 ¾” tall to the top of the lip of the body. This is a very handsome piece and would be a nice addition to any collection of American Pewter.
