Pint pewter mug by Boardman & Hart, NYC 1828-1853. Although marked NY there can be no doubt Boardman and Hart pewter was manufactured in Hartford and sold through the New York Office.
This mug measures 4“ tall. The taper-sided body has some incised line decorations. The mug is marked on the outside bottom in the traditional 19th century manner.
The mug is in very good plus condition with fine touches. The interior is fine save for some very light etching on the inside bottom.
