An Unmarked American Pint Mug Attributed to William Calder

An unmarked Ball Terminal Handled pint mug attributed to William Calder of Providence Rhode Island 1817-56. This mug has a distinctive base molding and pronounced lip on the rim. Note: there appears to be a very small X or perhaps Y struck on the edge of the rim to the left of the handle..
The mug is in very good condition. There is some denting to the back of the handle. The exterior is in fine condition. There is some etching to the interior surface of the body. The mug is 4 3/8” tall the top diameter is 3 7/16” and the bottom diameter is 4”
