Boteh handle porringer. This design has Paisley type swirls hence the name. This porringer bowl measures 4 11/16” in diameter. The “linen” mark is quite clear and shows that a coarse fabric was used in the tinker’s dam.
This porringer is in fine condition. It is believed that this design originated in Boston and is the late 18th century. I personal have seen an example with SG cast initials on the back of the handle
