An Old English Handle Porringer by TD & SB

This 4” Old English Handle porringer is the product of the shop of Thomas Danforth Boardman and his Brother Sherman. The firm was established c-1808 and continued into the 1860’s. They were located in Hartford , Connecticut.

Porringers fell out of fashion during the 1830’s-early 40’s. This example is in very good condition with a fine touchmark struck on the face of the handle (ear).
