An Unmarked L Boardman Taster Pewter Porringer - SOLD

Unmarked American pewter taster porringer. Porringers with this handle have been attributed to the shop of Luther Boardman while in East Haddam, dating from the first half of the 19th century. There are similar examples with a nearly identical handle with cast initial ICL& Co on the back of the handle for I C Lewis & Company of Meriden.

This porringer measure 2 ¼” in diameter and is in very fine condition.
