A Pattern 1864 Civil War Cartridge Box by Wilkinson - SOLD

During the last years of the Civil War the Government let out huge contracts for the production of Arms and Accoutrements for the various branches of the armed services.
This pattern 64 Box was produced by W. H. Wilkinson of Springfield, MA under contract. This box was inspected by G.T. Woodbury

This box is in fine condition retaining two excellent condition cartridge tins.
