A Handsome Three Quart Boardman & Co. Pewter Communion Flagon - SOLD

This handsome three-quart pewter flagon was made by Boardman & Co. Although the touch indicates New York as its place of manufacture, it was undoubtedly made in Harford, Connecticut.

Thomas D. Boardman and his many partnerships produced goods in Hartford and marketed them through the Hartford Shop and offices in New York and Philadelphia.

This impressive flagon measures 12 3/8" tall to the top of the thumbpiece. The flagon is in fine condition with a few minor surface blemishes. The interior is in as pristine a condition as they are found.

With the Boardman & Co New York eagle touch this piece was likely made circa 1822-1827
