A Half-Pint English Domestic Pub Mug by C. Bentley - SOLD

This English one-half pint taper-sided pub mug was made by Charles Bentley of London. The Pewter Society’s website notes Bentley was: A prolific London Pewterer who succeeded Samuel Buckingham PS1147, he was recorded in the 1861 Census as employing 22 men and 1 boy.

This substantiates a sizeable output of product. This half-pint mug is in very good plus condition with a good touch on the inside bottom. The mug measures 3 ½” tall to the lip.
