An Export Pear Form Pewter Teapot by Robert Bush, Sr. - SOLD
English Export Pewter Pear Form Teapot by Robert Bush, Sr. Bristol 1755-1800.
This teapot has a very pleasing form in that it is well proportioned in its design. The teapot retains its original handle. Frequently period wood handles became so damaged from wear and tear that they were replaced, in some cases tastefully done and in others merely just for function. This style teapot is often referred to as a "Queen Anne" teapot.
This pot is in fine condition on the exterior, there are some sporadic pits on the inside of the body. The pot is 5 1/8” tall to the top of the finial. This is a very attractive English Export Pewter Teapot.
