An 18 1/4" Multi Reed Rim Hammered Charger by Ingles - SOLD

A 18 ¼” Multiple Reed Rim Charger by Jonathan Ingles who worked in London from 1668-1705. This charger is hammer planished over the entire surface. There are owner’s initials on the face of the rim along with the date of 1689.

This charger was found in England and has been in a New England Collection since the 1970’s . It is in uncleaned “English Condition”. The hammering is distinct which sets this far apart from the usual unhammered Multiple reed rim chargers. The planished surface really catches your eye.

In very good plus condition with well struck touch marks an impressive large decorative piece.
